The Red Earth Flowers Story…..

They say that if you truly love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. I feel so lucky to be able to surround myself with beautiful, fresh flowers every day, and to be able to share this with my amazing team of passionate florists who work with me.

My venture into floristry began when I was just 15, working at a local florist as my first after school job. Even then I knew I wanted to one day run my own florist shop. Established in 2010, after gaining a lot of invaluable experience, Red Earth Flowers began to bud. While working from my kitchen table to make wedding bouquets for family and friends, Red Earth Flowers quickly began to grow as these wonderful people shared their love and appreciation of my work with their networks.  Soon, there simply wasn’t enough room on my kitchen table anymore! In mid-2013, I stumbled upon a shop in Kilsyth, at the foothills of The Dandenongs, and just minutes’ drive from the beautiful Yarra Valley.

That’s when Red Earth Flowers really began to bloom. It didn’t take long to move in, start renovating and begin living the dream! Now, the team at Red Earth Flowers not only make stunning wedding bouquets each week, but bundles of gorgeous unique arrangements every day!  Our florist shop is constantly full of lovely, fresh plants and flowers, as well as gift and home wares – most of which are locally made by other small businesses in the Yarra Valley.

My true passion lies in designing and arranging wedding flowers for our beautiful brides. After marrying my best friend in November 2014, I completely understand how each bride wants to have their perfect wedding day, unique to the couples’ personality. It is an honour for us to create and supply such a beautiful element of a wedding, helping to compliment the style of their happiest day. We love to see photos of our beaming brides, with love in their eyes, beautiful flowers in their hands and their wedding venues magically styled.
